At this point it’s become obvious that I am a sucker for cute packaging, vibrant colors and hand-rendered type. These cans by Sweet Leaf Tea have all three! Sweet Tea Leaf started in 1997 when Clayton, one of the founders, wanted to make a ready-made tea like his grandma Mimi used to make. Mimi is now drawn on the Sweet Tea label with the same chalky design style seen used throughout the rest of the company’s packaging.
On Saturday a bunch of Kristen’s friends got together to throw her a surprise birthday party at her apartment. Earlier I helped her roomie Tess get things ready for the party and made this cute sign! The party ended up being a great success, despite how obvious we were about getting her back home… haha, she was still surprised!
So now that I’m done with classes (YEY!) maybe I can actually share some of things I’ve been doing… like for Advanced Typography we had to keep a journal with doodles. Here’s one I did for a Thank You card. :)
